for children from birth to 5 years, as well as drop in Messy Art classes.

Messy Mixed Media: Summer session

Yarone Levy’s Junior Recording Artists is a fun program that teaches kids how to play an instrument, with the unique twist that once every four weeks their newly acquired skills are recorded and professionally mixed for a CD. In addition to providing ongoing musical instruction, the class offers kids a high level of motivation and a tangible sense of accomplishment in the form of their recordings, which they can share with family and friends and use to chart their progress. Junior Recording Artists is designed for small groups of students ages 6 and up, and is currently offered at Play with instruction on guitar.

In music..Big on our play list lately are Napper's Delight, a mellow and delightful new CD from Dean Jones of Dog on Fleas; Five Cent Piece and Loquat Rooftop from the wonderful Randy Kaplan, who played a great show at Play in February; and It's A Bam Bam Diddly! from Father Goose (of Dan Zanes and Friends fame).
